How To Backup Video Games
Have you ever lent your game to a buddy only to have it returned scratched and un-readable? We’ve all been there! ‘Disc Error’ plagues even the most careful after time! One of the best methods of backing up your investment is to simply do a CD Game Copy! This great option when you want to copy Wii games, Xbox games, and Playstation games for backup purposes.
When it comes to CD Game Copy nobody wants to mod their console and risk having it explode in their face. That’s why I recommend Game Copy Wizard or Easy Backup Wizard. Both are stellar programs for game copy.
For ease of use lets use just 1 example – Game Copy Wizard
STEP 1: Download Easy Backup Wizard and install it on your PC or Mac – Having it for both shows they care! Shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes or 2 shakes of a lambs tail.
STEP 2: Put your original game CD in your CD/DVD drive and then load Game Copy Wizard. Easy as pie right?
STEP 3: Make a new folder and save the game files to that folder. This may take 20 to 40 minutes, certainly enough time to make a nice deli sandwich or find a new cheat for Modern Warfare 2.
STEP 4: Once the files have all been transferred, and your delicious sandwich devoured, pull the original game CD out and insert a blank disc. The program will have you pick the file locations to save to. Hint: pick the blank disc. Presto! The game is being copied to the new disk, with the ‘secret’ files included.
STEP 5: Your ready to rock and roll! Use the original or the back up disc and you’ll get the same great results – intoxicating game play without the fear of another ‘Disc Error’ nightmare. The best part is there will be NO difference in game play, image quality or sound quality!
