As the blue screens on Wii Gamess warn us, it is illegal to copy a Wii Games. If one wanted to, hypothetically, make a backup copy of one of their favorite movies, here’s how it could be done.

In order to copy Wii Games, you need to download some special software. Free Wi Games, available on Google, works great. It’s a quick, free download.

First, make sure the disc you want to copy is in your drive. Copy the folder named “VIDEO_TS” from the Wii Games Drive folder onto your desktop.

While you’re waiting for the files to finish copying, download Burn Wii GamesWhen three-step window appears, click the large button under step one (“Select VIDEO_TS folder of Wii Games movie on hard disk.”) and locate the Wii Games. Double click the movie, highlight the “VIDEO_TS” folder, and click “OK.” It will let you know which restrictions are being removed from the disc.

Finally, click “Free Wii Games!” button and voila! The movie is in your possession, restriction-free. Burn Wii Games tells you how to do it! To play the movie, open your media player, click “File,” “Open” and select all the files from the copied “VIDEO_TS” folder, and enjoy. To copy the movie, insert a blank DV-R and move the “VIDEO_TS” folder to the new disc.
